About The Authors

Quiame Bey is an award-winning educator in New York City working with special education students. He is also the founder of Bey Scholars Inc., a non-profit organization that creates and provides after-school and summer programs for elementary, middle and high school students. One successful and popular program, called Chess Lords, is an interactive way for students to learn chess by becoming living chess pieces on a life-size chess board. It has been offered in several schools.  The author of three books, Bey has worked with children for more than a decade, keeping him a self-proclaimed child in spirit. Bey was born and raised in Manhattan, NY, and holds a bachelor's degree in Biblical Counseling.
